Tornado® is the flagship product of COMSATS which is long range wireless broadband service from CIS. Distance can be as far as 50 km and throughput as high as 100Mbps. This service has been introduced keeping in view the ever increasing demand for a high-speed and long range broadband service from the corporate sector. CIS offers point to point and point to multipoint wireless links via Tornado®. CIS uses quality wireless equipment from UBNT, USA. Dedicated (CIR) speed is provided via Tornado® ranging from 1Mbps to 50Mbps. Installation can be completed in one day.

Tornado® is an ideal service for corporate and governmental organizations. In addition to CIR packages, Tornado® offers shared packages also at less than half the price for CIR. However, bandwidth for these packages is shared instead of dedicated like in CIR. Shared packages start as low as Rs. 4999 per month.

Tornado® offers exciting cost-effective night time packages also for customers where speed at night is doubled than the day time speed. This enables customers to pay less and enjoy higher bandwidth at night. Such a service suits businesses with more activity at night time such as media and call centers.
